I have used this nice plugin for years: helps to enable different favicon for admin area. Yet today I started to discover which plugins take more time to refresh admin page (I tested updating a text page) and also refreshing admin pages. This plugin took about 1,3...1,5 seconds. And all other plugins (about 30) together took about 1,5 seconds! Dear author, I hope that it would be possible to optimize this useful plugin, so that it would not slow down the admin area.
